Arrival in Delhi & Train Departure
Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, a representative from India Gate Tours and Travel will welcome you and assist with your transfer to Safdarjung Railway Station. Our staff will be available at the arrival area holding your name sign for easy identification.
If your flight arrives early, we can arrange a hotel stay or optional Delhi sightseeing before boarding.
Reach the station by 4:30 PM for check-in and a traditional welcome ceremony with garlands and cultural greetings. Complete formalities and board the luxury train. Enjoy a welcome drink and orientation of your cabin by your personal attendant. The train departs in the evening, followed by dinner onboard.
Jaipur
Start your morning with breakfast onboard before arriving in Jaipur. Receive a royal-style welcome and begin city exploration. Visit Albert Hall Museum, City Palace, and the historic Jantar Mantar observatory.
Stop for photos at the iconic Hawa Mahal. Later, head to Amber Fort, a UNESCO site, and ascend the fort area with a traditional ride experience. Enjoy lunch at a heritage restaurant inside the fort complex.
Explore local markets for handicrafts and textiles in the evening. Return to the train and continue your journey with dinner served onboard.
Ranthambore & Chittorgarh
Early morning arrival near Ranthambore. Proceed for a guided jungle safari in shared vehicles through the reserve, known for tigers, deer, birds, and other wildlife. After safari, return to the train for breakfast and onward travel.
By afternoon reach Chittorgarh and visit the massive hill fort complex, one of India’s largest historic forts. Walk through ancient gates, towers, and palaces. In the evening, attend a sound and light show narrating its heroic history. Return to the train for dinner and overnight journey.
Udaipur
Arrive in Udaipur, the city of lakes. After breakfast, visit the grand City Palace complex with its courtyards and royal chambers. Explore the Crystal Gallery and museum collections.
Enjoy a scenic boat ride on Lake Pichola with views of the Lake Palace. Lunch is arranged at a heritage palace hotel. Later, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari gardens and enjoy free time for shopping. Return to the train by afternoon and continue onward. Dinner onboard.
Jaisalmer
After breakfast, explore Jaisalmer Fort, a living fort with homes, temples, and shops inside its walls. Walk through narrow lanes and admire sandstone architecture.
Visit Patwon Ki Haveli and beautifully carved Jain temples. Lunch is served at a premium hotel. Rest briefly onboard before heading to Sam Sand Dunes in the evening. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset followed by cultural performances and dinner in desert style. Return to the train at night.
Jodhpur
Reach Jodhpur in the morning and visit Mehrangarh Fort, towering above the city with palaces and museum galleries inside. Enjoy panoramic views and explore royal collections.
Visit Jaswant Thada marble memorial and the Umaid Bhawan Palace museum. Lunch is arranged at a heritage venue. Return to the train in the afternoon and continue your journey. Dinner onboard.
Bharatpur & Agra
Arrive early at Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, a UNESCO site. Take a guided cycle rickshaw ride through wetlands known for migratory and native bird species. Return for breakfast and depart.
Later arrive in Agra. Visit Agra Fort, once the Mughal power center. Enjoy lunch at a luxury hotel, followed by a guided visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the world’s greatest monuments. Free time for shopping before returning to the train for your final onboard dinner.
Return to Delhi
The train reaches Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi early morning. Enjoy breakfast onboard and complete check-out formalities.
